Seesaw fun and napping under a bridge!

So yesterday since we were making such great time we decided that a nap under this lovely country bridge would be splendid...and it was!  Also a mile before yesterday's campsite we found a freakinf seesaw!  Yes I'm aware I may have miss spelled that, deal with it.  It's not even a legit word.

Day 1 through 3

Welp in the last three days we have cover 50 miles!  I'm not sure if this is good, average or poor but dang we are whooped.  Despite being told by our good friend Josh Hessler, "remember this is an ultra marathon so take it one day at a time," we pushed it 20 miles today and tackled the two most difficult sections of this first part of the river, the grassey maze, and the log jam section outside of Bemidji.  We have made it but are beat.  We took a bunch of great pics but Daves phones died and had all our pictures on it. Any way we are at Silver maple campsite one mile outside of Bemidji.  We plan to rest tomorrow then paddle across lake Bemidji to Stump Lake Campsite.  One last thing, we saw a bunch of Swans to day three of which we nearly collided with!  Pretty cool!  Pictures to come!  Miss you all and thanks for your support!
OH Yea Lou!  We made it to Iron bridge by 945 today hung around for a hour but you never showed.  Did you get the note we left for you at the boat landing.

All this reading makes me sleepy

Time to explore...

Well, today we leave for Lake George Mn. To stay with some amazing people that Heidi Strand introduced us to.  Tomorrow will be our first day on the river.  Stay tuned for more!
